Details on the Marne cruise

You sail on the Seine and discover the monuments of the center and east of Paris : the louvre museum, Notre Dame Cathedral parade in front of you. At the confluence of the Seine and the Marne, you are attending the operation of a first lock : Saint Maurice so you are in the middle of the country. Along the Moulin Brulé island, under the Maisons Alfort bridge, the banks of the river Marne are such as Maurice Chevalier sang them during the 1950’s. The little islands are home to improbable Guinguettes.

The boat cross the Créteil lock and lead into the famous loop of the Marne. Many pretty mansions are hidden behind the trees. You peacefully have lunch along Bonneuil and its harbor, the Moulin Bateau island and Chennevières, where the painter Pissaro used to worked.

Return to Paris: The boat slides back towards the capital and you enjoy with another light of the beauty of the landscape that streams before your eyes. Who are you going to tell about all these wonderful memories?
